There are a maximum of 10 spots available. Please register early to ensure your place in the class. The class is based on the 6th edition of the neonatal resuscitation textbook. You must take the online test prior to the practicum and bring proof of passing to the in-person class. The exam can be found be at http://www2.aap.org/nrp . The online test is $23.50 and is not included in the cost of the registration ($75 MMA members/$80 non -members).
Healthstream (the company that sets up the exam) can be fussy about which browser is used. Make sure you aren't scrambling at the last minute trying to find a compatible computer/browser.
Lessons 1-4 and 9 are the only ones required at this time. This will be changing in 2017.
Instructor
Nancy Westendorp, MSN, NNP-BC
Nancy is a neonatal nurse practitioner in the regular and special care nursery at Holland Hospital. She attends high risk vaginal and cesarean births, providing resuscitation and support to newborns as needed. Nancy has taught NRP for MMA on multiple occasions and tries to provide scenarios that out-of-hospital midwives might encounter.
