Join us for a day of Aurora Chasing, with tutorials on Aurora Chasing, Aurora Forecasting and Aurora Photography. Dinner will be provided at an additional cost, and a social and night shoot will happen after the event at the dark sky park. More details coming soon!
A block of rooms has been reserved at a discounted rate at the host hotel, the Holiday Inn Express in Mackinac City. Contact the hotel and tell them you are with the Michigan Aurora Chasers to get a discounted rate. Please consider waiting until you reserve your ticket to make your reservation, as this event will sell out!
The good news is that this year's event will take place during the week of the Spring Equinox, an ideal time for active Aurora. However, we cannot promise clear skies for this event. Weather permitting, we will invite everyone out to chase the Northern Lights after the event! The bad news is that weather in March in Michigan can be unpredictable: please plan to experience winter driving conditions, which may include ice, snow and winter storms. We will hold this event rain, shine or snow!
Cancellation is allowed, but we ask that you post in the Michigan Aurora Chasers to give your seat to someone else if you need to cancel. To ensure good attendance and simplify the process, no refunds will be issued. This event is in high demand, so please reserve your spot only if you plan to attend!
