Hunters and fellow wild meat/fowl eaters!  Join our class on how to can meat and game on January 29, 2017 at the Auburn Sportsman's Club from 10am-2pm.

Come learn how to use a pressure canner to preserve your harvest and make it shelf stable for years. Free up valuable freezer space and stock your hunting camp with foods that don't need refrigeration!

Bring your favorite recipes and learn some new ones. It's a very useful skill to have and easier and safer to do than most people think. I teach water bath canning at the annual WITO and have had a lot of the guys ask me for a class on canning meat, which can only be done safely with a pressure canner.

This class is geared towards male hunters but anyone who wants to learn how to can meat is welcome!

Every attendee will receive a jar of turkey soup as well as an instruction & recipe book to take home.
