Hunters and fellow wild meat/fowl eaters!  Join our class on how to can meat and game on Sunday May 7, 2017 at the Uxbridge Rod & Gun Club from 10am-2pm.

Come learn how to use a pressure canner to preserve your harvest and make it shelf stable for years. Free up valuable freezer space and stock your hunting camp with foods that don't need refrigeration!

Bring your favorite recipes and learn some new ones. It's a very useful skill to have and easier and safer to do than most people think. I teach water bath canning at the annual NWTF Women in the Outdoors Event and have had a lot of the guys ask me for a class on canning meat, which can only be done safely with a pressure canner.

Every attendee will receive a jar of canned meat as well as an instruction & recipe book to take home.
