Standard MaxFest Registration + Maxient Bootcamp PARTIAL APPROVAL - $600.00

We are offering a Bootcamp session on June 12 as a pre-conference workshop. This session is similar to the initial on-site training that we conduct with each school and is geared toward beginners. This full day session is a great opportunity for folks new to the system to learn it from the ground up or for users who would like a refresher on the basics. Bootcamp is designed as an introductory or refresher training that will cover material related to common uses of the software. We’ll walk through workflow examples for conduct, Title IX, BIT/CARE, and academic misconduct while helping clients understand the features that make it all work. The session ends with an overview of the administrative screens that are most frequently used. This session is an additional cost of $150. Bootcamp attendance requires registration for MaxFest. PLEASE NOTE: Those attending must bring a wifi-enabled laptop with a modern operating system and web browser.

This year's MaxFest, our annual user conference, will be held in Columbus, Ohio!

MaxFest is a great opportunity to learn from both Maxient staff and your colleagues from around North America about how to get the most out of the software.  In contrast to our one-day regional trainings, MaxFest features more specialized sessions (over 35 were offered last year!), led by your favorite Maxient team members and your colleagues in the field, and addresses a wider range of topics and user experience levels. 

You'll have an opportunity to attend a variety of sessions covering both system management and process-related topics. In addition to sessions, you can also participate in our Small Group Help and Sharing Spaces where you can share information with your colleagues to disseminate and learn helpful practices used across the country. A Maxient staff member will be available during these sessions to answer questions as well.

In addition to informative 60-minute sessions, you'll attend our Welcome Session and Reception on Tuesday night where you'll learn about new features coming in Maxient and our Lunch and Development Forum on Thursday afternoon to share your opinion on what features might be developed in the future. On Wednesday, you (and any family/guests you might be bringing with you to Columbus) are invited to join us for dinner and a social event off-site. More details on that will be released closer to MaxFest. 

As always, attendance is capped. To avoid being left out, be sure to register soon!

As an added bonus, if your program proposal is accepted, you will receive a complimentary registration to MaxFest (limited to one registration per institution). We hope you'll consider presenting!

Travel between the hotel and John Glenn International Airport is made easy by COTA AirConnect. This is a shuttle that runs from 6 am to 9 pm, every day. Tickets are only $2.75, one way, and can be purchased at the airport, a number of stations downtown Columbus, or with cash on the bus! The trip should take 20 to 25 minutes, depending on traffic. Cancellation policy

You may cancel your registration with a 50% refund through May 13 when the "Early Bird Registration" expires. Starting May 14, no refunds will be given. That means if you register under the "Standard Registration", cancellation will result in the loss of your entire fee. Registrations may be transferred to other staff members at the same institution for no additional fee. Please let us know in advance if a transfer is necessary.
