Mary Haag's Retirement Party

Thank You for 25 Years of Prevention Leadership

After 25 years of achievement in the field of prevention, coalition building, and nonprofit management, Mary Haag will be retiring effective September 30, 2019. In her time at PreventionFIRST!, she led the organization through a name change, an office move, and set a goal to double the organization’s budget in her tenure. We would like to thank her for her years of service and setting a leadership example in every aspect of her life. 

Mary is a graduate of the Cincinnati Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Cincinnati, currently serves on the ADAPAO Think Tank, is past president of the ADAPAO board, and was the recipient of their 2015 Visionary Award. She is past president of the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board and has served as a coach/mentor for the National School of Prevention Leadership. 

Mary has been a nurse for over 40 years and has always followed her passion for health and wellness. She volunteered as a school nurse and volunteer coalition director for the SAGA Coalition in Anderson Township while raising her six children. We know she is excited to spend time with her 16 grandchildren and travel with her husband!
