This online course presents an excellent overview of Dynamic Positioning (DP)
It is presented by Capt. Mark Pointon, a DP subject matter specialist as a 4 hour session.
Attendees will be introduced to the DP system, the types of vessels it is operated on, the concept of DP redundancy & DP class. It includes an introduction to the global DP regulatory / compliance regimes and the structure for training / Certificating key DP personnel.
Completion of this course will provide attendees with a sound understanding of what DP is, where & how it is used and how it is regulated. Attendees will receive a workbook and certificate.
