Mixer bout hosted by Minnesota Frostbite: March 11th, 2023
Greetings! Minnesota Frostbite invites you to participate in a mixer bout the evening of March 11th, 2023! This 20-minute mixer bout (alternating L3 skaters (Frostbite & mixed teams) and L2 (Frostbite skaters only) is the pre-show for Minnesota Roller Derby's adult home teams championship at the Legendary Roy Wilkins Auditorium in Saint Paul, MN.
Participating junior skaters and bench coaches/wranglers are invited as our guests with free admission to attend the full evening's event. JRDA-registered volunteers, please email frostbite@mnrollerderby.com if interested in assisting as a bench coach and/or wrangler. Those interested in officiating the juniors and/or adult bouts, please email officials@mnrollerderby.com. Free admission is also extended to one accompanying adult for each participating junior skater. Ages 9 & under always get in free to MNRD bouts, so others ages 10 & up will need to buy a ticket.
FYI, proof of negative COVID test will be required for all participants (skaters, bench coaches/wranglers, officials) on bout day before or immediately upon arrival.
We realize this isn't a lot of bout skating for the time & travel involved, and we're looking at additional hospitality incentives.
