Mapping Diversity: Exploring Community Insights with Simcoe County’s Advanced Dashboard

The one-hour learning session will give participants an overview of the County of Simcoe Data Portal. The facilitator will invite participants to explore County data with a focus on diverse population groups. Customized tables from Statistics Canada and other sources will provide participants with evidence that supports sound strategic planning and development.

At the end of the session, participants will be able to use the data and tools to inform service delivery in their organization.

Speaker: Jonathan Katz - Manager, Business Intelligence & Policy Development

Jonathan Katz is the Business Intelligence and Policy Development Manager in the Social and Community Services Division at the County of Simcoe. Jonathan joined the County of Simcoe in 2023. With a robust background in analyzing community, health, and education data, Jonathan brings a wealth of expertise to his role. He holds a Master's degree in Spatial Analysis from Toronto Metropolitan University, a Master's degree in Health Informatics from the University of Victoria, and a postgraduate degree in Data Science from Harvard University.
