By learning about laws governing opportunities as diverse as produce, meat, dairy, eggs, value-added products, and agritourism, attendees can evaluate whether and how to diversify operations and diversify market risk.

The Council for Healthy Food Systems provides educational programs for consumers related to the benefits of local and regional food systems, not only for their own health but for the health of our planet. CHFS also offers educational programs to small-scale producers of local foods to assist them in strengthening their businesses.
