This consultation is about LGBTI events and places. Living Proud wants to find out how we can make those events better for people with disability. LGBTI people with a disability and People with disability who access LGBTI spaces are invited to come and share their experiences and opinions about how to create an inclusive space during PrideFEST 2021 and beyond.

This event will be Auslan intepreted.

If you have any questions please email Sarah or Jack on projectofficer@livingproud.org.au

The Making Queer Spaces Accessible Project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services.

The Making Queer Spaces Accessible project will work with LGBTI events, venues and safe spaces, offering practical assistance, financial support and advice as well as promoting accessible events to the LGBTI and disability communities. Project Officers Sarah Collins and Jack Meakins both have lived experience of LGBTI identities and disability, as well as professional experience in both LGBTI and disability sectors. While they each have different experiences within their LGBTI and disability identities, both have on many occasions experienced being the only person with visible disability in a queer space and the only openly LGBTI person in a disability space. Making Queer Spaces Accessible is a project of Living Proud WA
