Make a Splash in Mosaics!

Have you ever admired the lovely mosaics found in various art history? Fascinated by how such art can be created? Wonder if you could even try? A mosaic is a piece of art made from assembling small pieces of colored glass, stone or other materials. Mosaics started in Mesopotamia around the 3rd Millenium BC

Join Cherise as she guides you in this timeless tradition and discover how you join artisans who have created mosaics for thousands of years. You will make a beautiful art mosaic hanging with pieces of glass, wood, grout and imagination. In this session, you will have the chance to make a turtle or a dolphin. Turtles are limited so sign up early if you wish to do the turtle.

Due to the nature of mosaics, this is a two part class – part one is held on Sunday. Part two is an evening during the upcoming week. You can make arrangements during the class to come back to grout your creation. If you cannot attend the second night, you can make arrangements when convenient or have the studio complete the grouting. (This has been updated as of 8/10 since we were able to add more classes during the weekend.)

This class is not suitable for those under 18.

If you are interested in having a personalized class or party with family and friends, call Cherise at 708-466-5233

Due to the size and structure of the studio, once a registration is made and paid for, there are no refunds. We do realize that life happens, so if you cannot attend your session, please contact the studio as soon as possible. We may be able to schedule you into an upcoming class based on availability. If rescheduled, you must attend a similarly priced session within three months of the change. Thank you for understanding.
