Gevende is an acclaimed psychedelic folk band from the recent music scene of Turkey, attracting great attention of various music lovers and music critics in Turkey and abroad. They focus on improvisation, have no special language in lyrics, and the vocals are improvised in every single performance as if it is also an instrument. They have been invited and played at several prestigious music festivals and events in Turkey and abroad. Gevende has already given concerts in the UK, Holland, Portugal, Greece, Denmark and Germany.

MahraJazz (2017) is an alternative jazz festival, the first-ever Palestinian music festival to take place in Haifa. Organised by an independent group of young individuals, MahraJazz will be held on two consecutive weekends on 24-26 August – 31-2 September, and will showcase a variety of international and local jazz musicians and subgenres. MahraJazz is a non-profit, volunteer based event which aims at reaching wider Palestinian crowds in gathering as well as through radio broadcasting.
