Brian Weingart

Coach Weingart is entering his second season at Madison High School bringing a wealth of experience and baseball knowledge both as a player and coach. He most recently spent the last five seasons as head coach at Mendham High School where his team’s winning percentage improved each season. In that role, Coach Weingart partnered with the Mendham Baseball Booster Club to install a brand-new infield surface on their varsity baseball field, a feat he also accomplished during his first year at Madison. Nine of his former players went on to play college baseball, a positive trend that has continued at Madison. The program sent one player to college baseball during the first year and three players on the current roster have signed letters of Intent to play college baseball. The Madison High School baseball program added both summer and fall programs during Coach Weingart’s first year. These programs included teams in the HSDL leagues, inclusion of incoming freshman players, and a full developmental program for all returning players. As an assistant coach in Cranford, Coach Weingart’s teams won the Group III state championships in 2012 and 2013, finishing the year rank #1 in New Jersey in 2013. Coach Weingart is a 2022 member of the Cranford High School Hall of Fame as a member of the 1997 Group III State Championship baseball team. Coach Weingart played professional baseball for the Brockton Rox and was an all-conference selection while at William Paterson University.
