Service Jam
9-11 March 2018
https://luxembourgservicejam.splashthat.com
This intensive 48 hour event is aimed at bringing together people from all backgrounds to prototype solutions to social, economic and environmental issues of the world.
48 HOURS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
During two exciting days, people all around the globe will come together for 48 hours to develop brand new services inspired by a shared theme. From Santa Marta to Miami and Brasília to Berlin professionals and students of various backgrounds will meet at 43+ locations of the world to spend a weekend creating new exciting services.
Users First
From local to global
The main idea behind the jam is to exchange knowledge, experience a user-centered design process and to have a great time. The jam does not focus on creating realizable projects that are implemented right after the event. A chance to engage with the local and global community and create an innovative solution to a global issue.
Innovative Ideas
New ideas in any shape or form
Facilitators will introduce participants to customer-centric design tools, help them form diverse work teams, and coach them in creating a service inspired by the global design theme. Design enthusiasts will be able to apply their methods and tools in a process to make the world a better place. You don’t need to be “creative” or have experience with design to Jam. In fact we encourage people without such experience to join us.
