Looking for Love - in all the right places

A three-day Loving Men residential event – 7-10 August 2017

With Dennis Carney and Tim Foskett

Poulstone Court, Herefordshire

Looking for Love is a three-day exploration of the ways we seek out love in our lives. Whether single or in relationship(s) we each have relational habits and styles, usually set in motion in our childhood, then fashioned by the intimate and not-so-intimate life events we experience.

Maybe you hint at what you want with your lover - but never risk communicating directly?  Or do you demand connection with such ferocity that you frighten people away?  Do you endlessly circle the man of your dreams – but never reveal your true feelings?  Or perhaps you cultivate an image of independence, to hide needing love from other people?

However you ‘look’ for love, this workshop is an opportunity to reflect on the strategies you use, and experiment with different ways of connecting with other gay and bi men.

As usual on a Loving Men event there’ll be a welcoming, compassionate and fun group in which to understand your personal style of Looking for Love, and many opportunities to experiment interpersonally, get feedback if you wish and try some other options on for size!

We’ll work in small and large groups - and using a variety exercises to make connections, reflect, experiment and play.  There’ll be free time each day to explore the grounds and stunning local countryside.  For more information about getting the most out of a Loving men event click here.

Venue: Our venue for Looking for Love is the beautiful Poulstone Court in Herefordshire, set in the Wye valley, an area of outstanding natural beauty.  It is accessible from the Midlands and the South of England.  Approximately 3 hours drive from London and 4 hours on public transport.

Set in beautiful grounds and close to a river with swimming opportunities. The views from all parts of the house are stunning providing an uninterrupted vista of the rolling Wye valley landscape.
