Setting: Welcome to the alternate reality world of Asiyah. Here, even the most fantastic promises of the Renaissance have blossomed into realities. Dragons soar along side Da Vinci’s flying machines, while wizards weave illusions as intricate as any of Machiavelli’s machinations. Yet, under all this wonder rot grows and spreads. Noble houses and factions feud, reactionaries threaten to destroy all that has been built in this grand age.
Adventure: The Red City of Bologna features more wizard towers than anywhere else in Italy... or for that matter, in all of Europe. Recently the eccentric dimensional mage Teo has gone missing, and the protections which kept the dangers within his tower from spilling out have become unstable. People vanish suddenly from the streets, and those few who have found their way into the tower never return. Your urban adventuring company has taken it upon themselves to explore Teo's tower. Will you plunder the riches within? Save those who have become trapped? Fall victim to its strange magical phenomena? What strange, wondrous and terrible things will you encounter there? Of course, you aren't the only people interested in what mysteries and treasure the mage may have left behind....

Do you have special instructions for your players?: This game focuses on playing urban explorers & Investigators. Basically, that means you are a member of a group of adventurers that focuses on exploring and investigating strange going ons primarily in urban environments. Such groups generally have patrons, and this time your patrons is a noble whose son had the misfortune of being victim of a dimensional anomaly suspected to be connected to the tower. That means that your official goal is to, if not bring the son back alive, at least find out what happened to him. Beyond that, what you do while in the tower is at your discretion. I'll provide some pregens to choose from, but, creating your own character is fine as well, and upon request I can get a character creation document to you
