Advanced Deposition Skills Rule 30(b)(6) Program 

The United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, in partnership with the Roger Williams University School of Law and the Rhode Island Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, is proud to announce its comprehensive hands-on advanced deposition skills training program, focusing on Rule 30(b)(6) depostitions.

This program will provide hands-on training in advanced deposition skills and will take place from May 6 to 8, 2024. The course will be an intensive three-day program to be held at the Federal Courthouse in Providence, Rhode Island. The faculty teaching the program will include federal and state judges, Roger Williams Law School faculty, and experienced Rhode Island trial lawyers. This program offers 13 CLE credits, including 1 ethics credit. Registration will close when the program is full, so interested attorneys should apply as soon as possible.

The schedule for the program is as follows:

Monday, May 6: 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Lectures and Workshops. Reception to follow.

Tuesday, May 7: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lectures and Workshops - Lunch will be provided.  

Wednesday, May 8: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lecture and Workshop - Lunch will be provided.

The cost of the program is $675.00 (including course materials).  Payment must be made via check.

Partial scholarships are available to lawyers of all backgrounds who require financial assistance.

If you are awarded a scholarship, you will be provided with a special code which should be used when you register for the program.
