Mammals, Birds, and Plants! Calling all future naturalists! Come and learn about mammals, birds, plants, and seeds. Your child will learn about nature while having fun through hands-on activities and crafts utilizing natural materials like clay, pine cones, acorns, and seeds. This course is guided by experts from Citizens for Conservation in Barrington.
Instructor: BHS Football Students Learn the basics of flag football - instead of tackling the ball carrier, defensive players try to pull the flags off the ball carrier’s belt. It’s the perfect game for boys or girls.
Instructor: Sarah Giunchedi, Lines Teacher Have a blast while learning the art of improvisation – acting out a skit with no preparation. Future actors, actresses and comedians, this is the class for you!

Instructor: BHS Girl C0de Board Get ready for three weeks of science experiments, small-scale coding, puzzles, and more with BHS club “Gir1 C0de”. Boys, girls, and anyone with an interest in science, technology, math, or engineering are welcome to attend and learn more about the fundamentals and the basics that turn the gears of our world.
Instructor: Sylvan Learning Sylvan Robotics uses fun, hands-on projects to get creative juices flowing. Your child will learn how to build and program robots – all while making friends, developing new skills and having a great time learning important STEM skills.
Instructor: Beth Wright, Certified Next Generation Yoga Teacher & D220 Parent Kids benefit from yoga in so many ways! Yoga encourages sound sleep, a healthy body, imagination, a positive sense of self, emotional balance and body awareness. Next Generation Yoga incorporates traditional yoga poses, breathing techniques and meditation mixed with creative movement and fun! Students are encouraged to bring their own mats if they have one, but some mats will be available to borrow from the instructor.
Instructor: Betsy Brookbank, Lines Parent Calling all future volleyball stars!!! Come learn the basic skills of volleyball; bump, set, serve, spike!! This mini course will keep your child active while developing the love of the game! Instructor, Betsy Brookbank, was an All-Big 10 player at the University of Illinois who then went on to play 3 professional seasons and also coached at Saint Louis University and the Barrington High School Boys & Girls programs.
Instructor: W. Kim Tae Kwon Do, Lake Zurich A fun and exciting class where students will learn the fundamentals of Taekwondo. Balance, coordination, control, and timing are just a few of the physical elements students will learn. Mentally, students will practice focus, self-discipline, respect and teamwork.
Instructor: Mario Licciardi Do you have a guitar, but are not sure how to play it? Do you already play guitar, but want to sharpen your skills? Mario Licciardi (www.marsguitar.com), a well known musician and Consolidated Music instructor for the last 21 years, will teach you basics or help you improve what you already know. All levels are welcome. Each student must bring a guitar.
