In the morning: One-Hour Shrug.
Come and make the hottest clothing item in fashion today, the shrug, in a novelty knit fabric. Sew this simple but high fashion garment in just a short time using a serger or a sewing machine. Linda will offer a selection of fabric kits for you to choose or bring your own. It's super fun, and you will be wearing it to dinner that night!
Bring your eShrug downloadable pattern already printed to the workshop. You can download directly from Linda’s website www.sewingworkshop.com/. The pattern is found under “Jackets+Coats+Vests” in the patterns section of the website and is $10. The shrug can be made as you see, sleeveless or with long sleeves, and can be worn with the T-shirt you make in the afternoon. A supply list will be sent out in advance of this class.
In the afternoon: T-Shirt 101.
Linda will bring all sizes of this T-shirt pattern made up and ready for you to try on. In this class you will learn to work with tissue to mid-weight jersey knits. In one afternoon, you will construct a T-shirt from Linda’s eT-Shirt pattern and learn to make smart choices for seam and hem finishes and great designer details. A supply list will be sent out in advance of this class.
