The “Let’s Talk About White Supremacy” Series are monthly get-togethers for loyal followers of Marley K at marleyisms.com who are interested in countering racism/White Supremacy beyond reading about the subject and engaging/learning with others online on social media. Registration is required for all events to prevent trolls/troublemakers from disrupting fruitful discussions. Participants will be verified prior to meetings, and links will be emailed 48 hours prior to events.

Topic: Meet & Greet
This much-anticipated session is Marley K’s first antiracism meet and greets for her Marleyisms and Medium followers. Conversations will be moderated by Marley K. Participants will be able to engage in conversations and ask questions about racism and White Supremacy as they relate to historic and current events, essays. Participants may also ask questions regarding real-life issues if time allows.
Space is limited. Registration is required and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Meeting Duration: 2 hours maximum
Dress Code: Casual

“Let’s Talk About White Supremacy” Virtual Meeting
Topic: All White People Are “Still” Racists
Join the in-depth discussion about Marley K’s essay “Yes My Dear, All White People Are “Still’ Racists.” This event will help participants understand the ways systemic racism and White Supremacy reinforce institutional and systemic oppression in all White people. Marley K will teach participants how every White person is a foot soldier for White Supremacy if they aren’t actively working to not be.
The author will have a Q & A with participants. Attendees should read the essay before registering and be prepared to engage with the author and other attendees.
Space is limited. Registration is required and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Virtual Meeting Info and Rules for All Participants: All participants will be live for the duration of all virtual meetings. Engagement is important, and trust in Marleyism spaces is a must! Marley K desires to have a safe space where constructive discussions on Racism/White Supremacy can take place. Videos may be recorded so participants can rewatch later. If you desire not to be recorded, you should disconnect. Notices will be announced at the beginning of meetings informing all participants meetings will be recorded.
