Leave No Victim Behind

https://leavenovictimbehind.org

Here at Leave No Victim Behind, we focus on serving our communities, especially in times of great need. The original concept brings together all responders to victims of mass violence and has provided our attendees with best practices over the last seven years. Learning from those who have responded to incidents of mass violence is the reason our conference series has grown in attendance every year by maintaining the following philosophy: Create a non-traditional conference environment that focuses on delivering best practices from those who have experienced or responded to major violent incidents Panel perspectives, including first responders, district attorneys, victim advocates, and survivors focus on content and not power-point slides Not for Profit Bring together an audience of first responders, victim advocates, care providers, district attorneys, non-profits serving victims, and survivors. Not boring! We decided early on that we have all attended those conferences where you sit and look at your watch, and by the last day and last presentation, most people have left for home. Not ours. We stay to the very end because of the above recipe. Lastly, our sole focus is finding ways to best serve our communities during times of tragedy, and our success is based on our ability to work and learn from one another.
