Vermiculture, or worm composting, is the process of converting organic waste into nutrient-rich humus called vermicast or worm castings. This workshop will show you how to get started with your own worm composting project. Instructor Don Edwards will discuss different types of worm bins, and walk participants though worm bin construction and creation of starter kits. One lucky participant will leave with the bin constructed in class. Registration encouraged.
