But in actuality, true empowerment comes from within the ranks where theory becomes practice and strategies become action—thus facilitating a shift from a top-down approach to a group-led process of shared leadership. When people are engaged and feel empowered, they believe that the work they do has meaning and will be more willing to go above and beyond in the performance of their duties. This session will provide participants with tips and strategies to enable them to find their voice, increase their influence and lead from within to facilitate the outcomes they desire.
