Open Arts Alliance is excited to launcher new theatre vacation workshops. Our trained faculty will lead participants in the process of bringing a story to life using elements of drama, art, song, or movement. Each workshop will conclude with a performance for friends and family.
In the fairy tale criminal justice system, citizens are represented by two separate yet equally ridiculous groups: the fairy tale police who investigate fairy tale crime, and the fairy tale district attorneys who prosecute the fairy tale offenders. But some days, these heroes must face a far darker challenge: nursery rhymes. These are their stories.
Cancellation policy A full refund, minus a $50 processing fee per program, will be issued if the student drops more than two weeks prior to class start date. A full refund will only be issued if the program is canceled by Open Arts Alliance. Where possible, refunds will be made by the original payment method, or by check. Please allow up to 15 days for your refund check to be mailed. Please note, if you cancel your registration with less than the required notice, no refund or credit will be given. Classes will not be prorated and no other refunds or tuition transfers will apply or be offered.

Open Arts Alliance, is a 501c3 non-profit social service organization that uses the performing arts to bridge the gap between the youngest and eldest members of our community. Through our free educational programs for children and senior citizens, OAA is dedicated to bringing literacy and art to an underserved community. Open Arts Alliance focuses on working with students who are in high-risk situations as well as senior citizens who have mobility issues, cognitive deficits and dementia. Our educational programs use theatre to speak to students of all ages about personal wellness, bullying and making positive life choices.
Hale McSharry (choreographer) is a theatre artist born and raised in Greenwich. After graduating from Greenwich High School in 2013, he studied theatre at Northwestern University in Chicago. In 2017, he played Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors on a cultural exchange tour of Bosnia & Herzegovina, presented by the U.S. Embassy in Sarajevo. In 2018, he joined the ensemble of South African director William Kentridge’s The Head & the Load at MASS MoCA. Look for him in television shows such as The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and Ray Donovan. The Jungle Book Kids is his mainstage choreography debut.
