Lake Orion Crop Walk

 Crop Hunger Walks help to support the overall ministry of Church World Service hunger fighting efforts around the world.  CROP Hunger Walk returns up to 25% of the funds raised to hunger-fighting programs in its own community.

We have a generous sponsor who has committed to donate $1000 for us to walk as a group!  Youth are welcome to raise additional funds.  Checks only (no cash) made out to CWS / CROP are due to LOUMC by June 29^th!  Youth can get community service hours for this event.  They are responsible for the follow up.  LOHS has an online process, some organizations have specific forms, while others require letters.  

Youth will meet at LOUMC at 6:30 p.m.  We will walk to the Paint Creek Trail (behind KFC) and do a 5K and return to LOUMC for ice cream sundaes.  I will not be requiring masks but your youth can wear one if you feel more comfortable.  They are also welcome to eat outside as well.
