Three 60 Minute Sessions (Must commit to attend all three days)
December Clinic: Wednesdays (2nd, 9th & 16th) 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Rain dates will be Thursdays (3rd, 10th and 17th) 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
Please arrive 15 minutes early and bring your putter.
Day 1: Putting Perfection!
Wednesday, December 2, 2020 (Rain Date: Thursday, December 3, 2020) 3:00pm SHARP
· Putting green etiquette (10 minutes)
o How to properly mark your ball
o How to properly move your ball marker
o What happens if you accidentally cause your ball to move? Rule
o Where should you stand
o Where should you place your other clubs (if any)
o Where should you park your cart
o Exiting the green area
· Putting Tips Part 1 (25 minutes)
o Grip pressure
o Proper alignment
o Putting stroke – use shoulders
o Lower body – stability
o Clock Drill and 1, 2, 3 Drill
· Putting Tips Part 2 (25 minutes)
o Tips on reading greens
o Lag putting
Day 2: Pitching and Chipping keys to success

· Pitching and Chipping etiquette (10 minutes)
o What’s the difference?
o Sprinkler head interference. Do I get relief?
o What if another player’s ball is in my way but they aren’t on the putting surface yet?
o Relief options in bunkers
§ Plugged lie
§ Taking line of sight relief and dropping outside of the bunker
· Chipping Tips (25 minutes)
· Pitching Tips (25 minutes)
Day 3: Take it to the course
Wednesday, December 16, 2020 (Rain Date: Thursday, December 17, 2020 3:00pm SHARP
· Play 2 holes on the course with instruction (30 minutes)
o Course management tips
· Putting the practice to good use (30 minutes)
o Putting drills
