What is a Kueh Pairing Workshop and why should I join?

Be the Trendsetter! Why do common wine pairings when you can do drinks pairing with local food!

1Find out more about Singapore’s local dessert culture (Kueh-making) and various drinks it can be paired with (tea, cocktails, coffee) according to the session you sign up for. You learn the art of the Kuehs and drinks, taste it and experience making it the professional way yourself!

2There are 3 separate workshops in the Kueh Pairing Workshop Series that you can choose from. Each workshop focus on delivering professional knowledge of the drink (accordingly to the session you sign up for; either Artisan Tea, Bespoke Cocktails or Specialty Coffee) and Kuehs. Participants get to do hands-on making of the drink (accordingly to the session you sign up for) and a Mod-Sin Kueh along with a tasting session. The tasting session consist of three (3) courses of drinks (accordingly to the session you sign up for) and the complementary Kuehs.

How do I sign up?

Are there any additional processing fees involved?

Not at all! We have absorbed all other miscellaneous cost and the price reflected is final.

 

Do you do workshops for company team bonding?

The workshops are designed for cultural exchange and leisure learning. It will be an awesome experience for colleagues, family and friends to participate in the workshops. One gets to make, taste and learn about the food and drinks which is unique in each workshop.


Will there be certificates?

Yes, every participant will receive a certificate of participation at the end of the day.

The Kueh Pairing Workshop Series by Rainbow Lapis is put together by trusted local companies who are leaders in their respective fields and with robust company history. This is a special collaboration for the Singapore Food Festival 2017.

Do you have other dates available?

The Kueh Pairing Workshop Series by Rainbow Lapis is a special one-off event held in the Singapore Food Festival 2017. Hence, the dates are final and all slots are sold on a first-come-first-serve-basis.

Respective representative(s)/speaker(s) from the participating companies will be guiding you throughout the workshop so you can benefit the most out of the workshop(s).

 

Are prerequisites needed for these workshops?

Not at all! The workshops are designed to be easy and enriching for everyone. Just come with an open heart and have fun while learning!

 

What payment methods do you accept?

Currently, we accept online payment via credit cards only.

 

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

The Kueh Pairing Workshop Series by Rainbow Lapis is a special one-off event held in the Singapore Food Festival 2017. All purchases are final and non-refundable. Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose to cancel or not to attend after signing up.

In the rare event if Rainbow Lapis cancels a session, registrants of that session will be offered a full refund.

The Singapore Food Festival (SFF) returns for its 24th edition this July with the theme “Savour Singapore in Every Bite”. SFF2017 will honour generations of food heritage and showcase culinary creations that push the envelope on Singaporean cuisine. It celebrates Singapore flavours, amazing talent and the rich depth of our culinary past and future.

 

The Festival takes place in various locations across Singapore from 14 to 30 July 2017.
