Knitting 201
Have you wanted to learn to Knit one of those Beautiful Hats that KozyKween makes?

Now is your chance!

Course is open to teens (13+) and adults with some prior knitting experience.  If you attended Knitting 101 in June, you’re all set to join us.

This class is an introduction to making knit hats! Students should have some prior knowledge of knitting, however, we will briefly review the stitches if needed. Through this class, we will learn the basics of circular knitting, how to create ribbed patterns, knitting in stockinette stitch, and how to decrease stitches. Students will leave class with all the skills to complete a hat from start to finish! We will also learn to make and attach yarn pom poms to your finished hat!  Note: This is a TWO session class

Joyfully Crafting Studio is a place to learn, share and find joy in creating. Classes are offered to both members and the public. Instructor Bio – Susan Marquardt Due to major back issues, I was forced to leave my retail management career and have had a very difficult time finding work. So, with the support of my amazing husband, in Spring 2017, I decided to return to school and obtain a bachelor's degree in Adult Learning. For the fine art credit course, I had enrolled in my first ceramics class and immediately fell in love working with clay and set up my home studio soon after. I always had a love to mentor and teach others. Now, I can combine my love of sculpting and teaching, by holding these classes.
