KinoVino is delighted to team up with the flamboyant food duo, Russian Revels, to bring you an unforgettable two nights of Georgian wine, cinema and food at Calvert 22, the hippest spots for all things (post-)Soviet in Shoreditch. Together we will envelop you in the colourful and vibrant sights, sounds, scents and tastes of one of the most culturally and gastronomically rich areas of the Caucasus mountains - Georgia. Join us for this rare screening of a beautifully poetic drama, A Wishing Tree (1977), by one of the greatest visionaries of Georgian cinema, Tengiz Abuladze, which will be followed by a family-style Georgian feast (no formal courses, just A LOT of sharing platters with amazing food). Your spirits will be lifted with the beautiful artisan Georgian wines that will be served throughout the evening, courtesy of British Georgian Chamber of Commerce, bringing your experience of the night as close as possible to an authentic Georgian celebration: soulful, eccentric, lyrical, delicious, surprising and utterly unforgettable.
