Yup, we had so much fun last fall that we are doing a spring retreat at Lutherwald! The spring weekends were filled,but we were able to find a few week days that work. Plan to adjust our work schedules NOW so that you can attend.
Accommodation details: The Retreat Center has 3 floors with 4 bedrooms on each floor. Each room is equipped with 4 twin beds and has its own attached batroom with toilet/sink/bathtub/shower. Two of the rooms on the main floor are set up as handicap accessible. On each floor, you can enjoy large lounge areas, 2 extra half baths, and a kitchen (with stove, fridge, toaster, microwave, and coffee maker). The sewing area easily accommodates 20 participants with sewing machines plus plenty of space for ironing and cutting stations. Meals are served at separate tables in the same area. Yes, there is a bathroom area in the sewing building. Camp Lutherwald is located on a lake with plenty of walking trails for your pleasure. As well, the outdoor deck can be fun if the Indiana weather cooperates.
Wednesday lunch and dinner, Thursday lunch and dinner, and Friday lunch are included in the fee schedule. Meals are served cafeteria style. As in the past, we will be providing our own breakfast items. The full kitchen in the retreat center provides plenty of space and storage so that we can personalize our early morning meal - even in our jammies. Refrigerator space is available in the dining hall for food and beverage items. And, or course, our own snacks are welcome!
Shipshewana is ust a few miles down the road for shlpping - sewing supplies or otherwise! Come join us and have a lovely time.
