Kids can to carve rough stones into beautiful gems called "cabochons". This parent and child class is fun, easy and relaxing! OGMS instructor Kay Hara will show your youngster how to use our state of the art equipment to create beautiful gems that are worthy of setting in jewelry! Most students are able to complete several projects in the course of this six week class. A parent or guardian is required to attend this class to ensure student safety at all times. This is a great way to spend quality time with your kid!Participants should wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get wet. Parents are expected to actively participate with their child.A $10.00 fee per child attendee, for materials and consumables usage, will be collected at the first class.
