Monthly social gathering for those who would like to discover how coloring can help reduce stress, promote mindfulness and create focus. While not art therapy, coloring can provide many benefits, especially if done in a social setting as well as alone.
These sessions allow for creative expression using a form that most all are familiar with and do not require any ‘art’ training.
First time attendees will receive two coloring sheets, pack of colored pencils, and instruction on how coloring can provide mental health benefits as well as some stress reducing techniques to do at home.
Returning attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences and their art as well as learn different techniques in coloring using tools such as crayons, oils, watercolors. Returning attendees will supply their own coloring book to continue their sessions.
