This course is an extension of those concepts covered in Jazz Improvisation Level 1 with a few additional ideas on how to approach practicing improvisation. Once again working through standard jazz tunes, topics will include developing jazz vocabulary and creating melodies, chord relationships including ii - V - I’s, voice-leading and guide tones, patterns, transcribing and additional resources sure to keep you busy for a lifetime!
