WINTER SESSIONS

Mon, Wed, Fri - 3:30pm to 5:30pm

Due to the change in school year schedules, we will be changing our schedule as well. We will continue meeting Mon/Wed/Fri instead of our normal fall days of Tues/Thurs/Sun. We will also be changing the meeting time to 3:30pm for all three days. We are still practicing social distancing and keeping the attendees limited to 20. We will also have hand sanitizer on hand.

Our winter training consists of technique workouts; focusing on coordination, quick twitch muscle reactions, fluidity of movement, ground contact, etc. Speed is a vital skill for any sport. More often than not, speed and the ability to move fluidly, gives any athlete the upper hand over their competition. No skills are required but we do ask our athletes to show up ready to work hard; focusing all their energy on the task at hand.

Please contact us with any questions!

GRIT Athletics/Joseph Swift

www.GRIT-Athletics.com

Teaching the Fundamentals Needed for Greater Speed; Agility, Flexibility, Coordination, Endurance, Mental and Physical Strength. Since his time as a Div. 1 football player (Univ. of Colo. - Boulder) and as an important member of the Nassau Community College track and football teams; Joe Swift has been sharing his knowledge and experience with high school and collegiate athletes. His journey has brought him to AZ, giving him the opportunity to pass along his skills and knowledge to the next generation. What separates me from other coaches, is my attention to detail. In a session with me, I will have you run through a number of drills that will help me assess your body type, your running form, your strengths and your weaknesses. From there I customize the workouts to create a solid foundation. Then we shift focus to increase your speed, acceleration and reaction time.
