The Simcoe County Local Immigration Partnership invites you to take part in an exciting public awareness campaign that is designed to take a proactive step towards addressing racism and discrimination in Simcoe County. https://simcoe.ca/itstarts
The campaign is coming up in March. It will be the third year for the #ItStarts campaign. What it involves is having county residents participates and fill out a card and posting it on social media. This is your chance to take part in a special social media campaign that celebrates diversity and inclusion.
To prepare for the upcoming campaign, the County of Simcoe Local Immigration Partnership is offering 7 training sessions in the County. You will have the opportunity to attend training to lead the campaign in your workplace or your community. The training will last 2 hours and the Ambassadors will receive a toolkit including educational materials, campaign cards, and PowerPoints.
