This workshop will introduce participants to many of Ireland’s native tree & shrub species found within Ireland’s woodlands and hedgerows nowadays as well as some non-native species which have naturalised here and are now common. Following an introduction, overview, and insight into key identification features of Ireland’s trees and shrubs, participants will partake in an outdoor session to practice their newly learned identification skills in the field. This workshop is aimed at beginners and those wishing to refresh their identification skills.
