November 12th Virtual Post-Conference Workshop

Presenter:  Shannon Biagi, CEO and founder Chief Motivating Officers, LLC

TitlePlanning for Growth: Creating Professional Development Pipelines in ABA

Time:  12:30-4:30 Central Time

Location: Virtual via Zoom

Abstract

Creating a culture of growth and ongoing professional development is essential for behavior analytic businesses to thrive, but setting up the systems to facilitate this can be complex and time-consuming. This workshop will focus on how to develop "leadership pipelines" and professional development plans for ABA practitioners, from new technicians to seasoned BCBAs, using organizational behavior management (OBM) principles as the foundation. We will also dive into how to develop complex measurement tools, including behaviorally anchored rating scales and a brief primer on performance scorecards/matrixes, as well as how to create non-monetary reinforcement systems to accompany the pipeline model.

Continuing Education

4 Continuing Education Units for behavior analysts (BACB approved Type II CEUs) will be awarded at the workshop.

CEU Helper will be used to obtain CEU's.  It is required all attendees download CEU Helper and utilize the app and a device to scan QR codes.
