Dear IOSH Singapore Branch Members,
Another year has passed and on May 9th we will be hosting our Annual General Meeting (AGM). The previous 12 months seemed to have gone like a ‘’blink of the eye’’; our branch has moved from strength to strength with regular monthly networking nights and some great speakers, the CPD/IPD development nights hosted by Steven Low (our Vice Chairman) and Alvin Gan, working with local Universities and much more. Our branch membership has grown in numbers and the reach of our branch membership is truly global with branch members in Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, UK, USA, Africa, Philippines, UAE, India, Sri Lanka and many more countries – we can probably say the Singapore Branch has the most global reach of any IOSH Branch.
The nominations for the new executive committee have closed and the new committee will be announced at the AGM. We will also be saying farewell to some exco members who has stepped aside to allow new volunteers to join us in the exco team. During the AGM you will meet the new exco team, hear a summary of what we have been up to over the last 12 months and hear what we have planned for the 2019/20 year ahead.
We are pleased and honored that the
IOSH President, Dr Vincent Ho will be flying in from Hong Kong to join us for the evening. We are returning to the Marriot Hotel for this AGM as it was always a popular venue for our events having easy access (next to Orchard MRT Station), Carparking options, and more importantly GREAT FOOD!.
