IOSH Singapore Branch is delighted to invite you to join us for an IOSH Networking Night at Suntec Convention & Exhibition Centre on 03 Apr 2018, Tuesday. We are pleased to have Dr. Rob Cooling to share the Health and safety management on major programmes. So much of government policy and corporate strategy is delivered through major programmes. These programmes are typically complex, cross-cutting and uncertain in nature which introduces significant health and safety risks and opportunities.
In this presentation, experiences will be shared from involvement in developing and implementing health and safety strategy on major programmes in the Middle East, particularly major construction and infrastructure developments. Key themes will include strategy and leadership, governance and assurance and culture and behaviours.
Bio of Dr. Rob Cooling
Dr. Cooling is Director of Health, Safety, Quality and Environment (HSQE) at Expo 2020 Dubai. In this role, he is responsible for setting and implementing the HSQE strategy for this major programme leading up to the Expo event in October 2020. Dr. Cooling is an Adjunct Professor at United Arab Emirates University and also currently serves as Vice Chair of the Middle East Branch of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH), supporting IOSH branch meetings and events. Dr. Cooling holds a PhD in Law from Salford University, specialising in regulation and an MBA from London Business School.
