The Online Tutor Network invite you to a short raising awareness event.

QMU has run three online taster sessions, raising the profile of our online programmes and the University to an international audience. These are short courses, lasting between 2 to 5 weeks, which are available to anyone who signs up to the Open Education website. With participations of over several hundred from all over the world, these courses showcase our online programmes. Learners are provided with multimedia resources, quizzes, case studies, and encouraged to discuss relevant issues throughout the course.

Rachel Mapson from Speech, Hearing and Sciences has recently run a taster session on “Interpreter CPD: Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 2016.” Nial Vivian from the Consumer Dispute Resolution Centre has also run a taster session on “An introduction to conflict resolution.” Nial and Rachel share their experiences of creating and running these online spaces, marketing, engaging participants and linking to their online programmes to encourage recruitment.
