Learn the ancient art of quilling. Its origins can be traced back to the 15th century. It's thought that it was created by nuns to decorate religious objects in an effort to save money. It eventually became something that mostly "ladies of leisure" did during its heyday in 18th century England (including a couple of queens). It's regained its popularity now, and if you google quilling, you can see some amazing works of art.
$35 for 2 hours of instruction and all supplies included.
Lost & Found Crafts is a secondhand craft store located in Olympia, Washington. The store has various materials and supplies needed for crafts of all kinds at very affordable prices, and now has classes! The store is located on the 2nd floor of the Action Business Furniture building, in between Twister Donuts and the Eastside Urban Farm & Garden store.
