Intermountain Chapter 123 of the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (I-APIC) is presenting our annual educational conference in Boise, Idaho, on October 12 and 13, 2023. We would be very pleased to have you participate as a vendor or sponsor.
The conference location this year is the St. Luke’s Plaza in Boise, Idaho. The conference sessions will be held in the auditorium. A separate large meeting room near the auditorium will be provided for vendor displays and is completely closed at night to allow for secure continuous set-up for the two day conference.
Our theme this year is “Preparing for the Future of Infection Prevention”. The 2023 conference agenda will include a wide range of topics including understanding Candida auris, Special Pathogen control and isolation, environmental disinfection, diagnostic stewardship, as well as new trends in Long Term care and the outlook for Infection Prevention certification and growth. Our educational offerings have been specifically chosen to be relevant to Infection Preventionists working in multiple types of healthcare facilities including acute care, critical access, skilled nursing, long term acute care, rehabilitation, and ambulatory surgery centers.
Conference attendance is usually between 60 and 80 attendees from healthcare facilities all over Idaho, Washington, Eastern Oregon, and northern Utah. This will be a great opportunity for you to show off new products and to network with infection prevention professionals who influence purchasing decisions in their facilities.
Vendors are invited to participate by displaying their products and services. There will be 3 dedicated sessions each day for attendees to visit the Vendor area. You may also provide support by sponsoring a speaker, meals, or door prizes. Conference meals will be served in an area adjacent to the vendor and conference areas.
