The Jamaican Bar Association along with Grant Thornton and WeirFoulds LLP present a one-day workshop on Jamaica’s Insolvency Act and other developments in insolvency law, addressing the pressing issues that counsel in Jamaica and the Caribbean are facing today. 

 

You will learn how to navigate the legislation and understand what options are available for your clients, with speakers sharing insights from their experiences working under Canada’s Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act, the model for Jamaica’s legislation, and throughout the Caribbean.

 

 

Speakers will include Danny Nunes, Bota McNamara and Nadia Chiesa of WeirFoulds LLP and Marcus Wide and David Holucoff of Grant Thornton.
