This presentation will provide an overview of Hantavirus disease, epidemiology and prevalence in Washington State in the context of a recent King County cluster investigation.

Presenters;

Hanna Oltean MPH is the zoonotic and vectorborne disease epidemiologist at the Washington State Department of Health, in the Office of Communicable Disease Epidemiology. 

Vance Kawakami DVM, MPH  is a CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service officer at Public Health – Seattle and King County, in the Communicable Disease Epidemiology and Immunization section.
