The pandemic has highlighted the importance of prioritizing and supporting newcomers to Canada in health care planning. Working together, local stakeholders can increase awareness and create collaborative solutions to improve health equity for immigrant residents in Simcoe County. This session includes:
· Presentation on the results of the 2021 Simcoe County Health Outcomes (IHO) survey
· Keynote speaker sharing Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) journey in supporting immigrant patients and their families
· Information about the National Newcomer Navigation Network (N4), an online platform to support newcomer-serving professionals across sectors
