Workshop Leader: Andrew Malcolm

Venue: Glengarra Woods, Tipperary

Date:  Saturday, 13th October

Time: 10:00 - 16:00 (All outdoor)

Audience: Beginner recorders, foragers etc.

Foraging is a very rewarding activity but one which is best advised to be undertaken only when you are confident enough in your identification skills. Thus, this workshop will help participants hone that skill with seasoned forager Andrew Malcolm who will guide people through the minefield of what is safe and what is not safe to eat in the forest. He will also explain how to collect things in a sustainable manner and will share some ways to preserve some of what is found over the winter months.
