Join the National Biodiversity Data Centre for an introduction to Ireland's butterflies. This workshop will cover:

  • Biology of Ireland's butterflies.
  • Identification features of Irish butterflies.
  • Why should we and how do we monitor butterflies.

Following the indoor element, we will travel to the Raven Nature Reserve for some fieldwork.

For more information on why we should monitor butterfly populations, see the Irish Butterfly Monitoring Scheme report here.
