Overview
FIDIC has published the new Client / Consultant Model Services Agreement 2017 Edition (“White Book”) and this has introduced significant changes to the previous 2006 edition.
The White Book is suitable for general use for most services provided by consulting engineers, including pre-investment and feasibility studies, detailed design and engineering services, contract administration for work contracts and project and programme management. The White Book is typically used for Employer-led teams and for Contractor led-teams on a variety of infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
At this presentation, we will analyse and highlight the changes to the FIDIC White Book and consider how they are likely to affect consultants and contractors operating in the Middle East. Our aim is to encourage discussion and engagement on the critical issues that may affect your future projects as a result of these new changes.
