The Innovation in Energy and Agriculture Opportunity Zone Summit was developed to foster collaborations to implement solutions to address systemic barriers and challenges that impact rural communities, co-located with Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), in Opportunity Zones with Envision Centers.
This dynamic, immersive 3-day event will alter the face of farming and rural
enterprise in America by catalyzing investment in Opportunity Zone communities
across the country. Wide-ranging topic sessions and networking opportunities will
focus on cutting-edge practices and technologies in food production, food security,
food safety and agriculture literacy – from renewable energy and biofuels to the role
of satellites, drones and the Internet of Things in precision farming, to Government
research grants, job creation and workforce development.
